Hi, I’m Len.

By day, I’m the Operations Director for a growing multi-location dental practice. I’m also a husband, a father to two kids, and a stepfather to two more. Yes that is four active kids in total, all within a few years of each other. Life is loud, fast, and full.

And yet, I write.

I’ve committed to the following work:

  • 104 poems

  • 104 essays written in response to those poems

  • a guided journal for reflection on the 104

  • a novel series built around a character named Lincoln Reid

This site is where I document the process, early drafts, wandering thoughts, personal insights, and the evolution of it all.

While much of my writing draws from my lived experience, especially the poems and essays, the novel lives in its own world. But everything I write is shaped by my desire to understand something deeper, about myself, about people, about the way we hold together the lives we’ve chosen and the ones that chose us.

I write in the margins of a full life, not as escape, but as a way of stitching everything together. Lenkoury.com is a place to keep the writing, and myself accountable.
